GoLit ® Gel Cooling Memory Foam Pillow

I actually bought this for my Dad. He has been bed ridden for 14 months now. I will do almost anything to make him as comfortable as possible to be able to stay at home. My Mom told me that he sweats a lot at night and his pillows get wet. I researched and researched and decided that this was the one. I would never pay this much for a pillow for me, but for him - it has been life changing. I gave it to him yesterday and after about two hours of him using it - he told me he loved it! It stays and place and does not move down his back or to the side. It did keep him cooler. I told him the real test would be overnight. I just called him and he said this is the best pillow he has ever had! He said it worked well no matter how his head was on it. And he did not sweat! My Mom could not believe it! She always has to change his pillow cases every morning and she was happy that she didn't have to. This is will cut down on laundry too. When my family saw that I gave him this pillow and I took it out of the zipped cover - they all touched it and said they wanted one too! Then I said, "pillows for Christmas it is then. You get a pillow and you get a pillow and you get a pillow." I really was serious though. This is pillow is worth the money if you have sweat at night and need good support for your head. It came so nicely packed in a carry plastic zipped case with a handle. It is so sturdy and did not smell. Easy to carry as a gift and it fit in a normal size regular pillow case. My Dad has never been to picky about pillows. But I think we will have to make sure he always has this one now. I am happy with this purchase as are my parents! I highly recommend it!

This pillow is amazing for several reasons. 1st off this is a real review from a real person. I've been dealing with insomnia the past 2 months and would flip and flop all night. I had a bunch of expensive feather down pillows. Finally out of desperation started replacing them and found this pillow. The 1st night sleep was heavennnnn. I haven't been able to watch and tv in bed because i never make it to the end. WOULD DEFINATLLY RECOMMEND.

I use the Sleep Cycle Ap, which records movement & Sounds, like snoring. Before this pillow, my sleep was up/down & I was not in a deep sleep. I was tired during the day & had about 5 min of snoring occasionally. After this pillow, I don't snore, nor do I move. I sleep like a rock & feel great in the morning! I was always a "down only" pillow consumer. Had no idea a pillow could create this kind of result. I bought two.
Update - I've now bought a few of these. The size in thickness & density can slightly vary to thicker. My moms hurt her neck & when I slept on it, same thing. Overall, an easy purchase for bigger men & prob a toss up for smaller women. I still love my first pillow & it's possible it's slightly thinner than the others.

I wanted to give this a real try before I left a review considering I hesitated to buy it for almost a month. At first opening it up and putting my head on the gel area I wasnt too impressed BUT i was pleasantly surprised that throughout the night I did feel the coolness on my face. Pillow is firm but also soft-ish. It has a minor smell but nothing too too bad. I don't have a pillow case over it. The cooling gel wont "work" with the case on it. I really love this pillow. I don't regret buying it at all!
